We are proud to announce that iPort Rail has been shortlisted for Project of the Year in this year’s Rail Freight Group (RFG) Awards, as well as being nominated for Business of the Year by the show’s judges.
RFG is the official representative body for rail freight industry in the UK and the annual Awards recognise outstanding contributions that help to increase the volume of goods moved by rail.
The Rail Freight Project of the Year category celebrates projects that help make a significant improvement in the quality, range, or safety of services offered to freight users, as well as enhancing the market prospects for rail freight.
The Business of the Year Award, widely recognised as one of the highest accolades in the industry, is selected by the judging panel from all entries received on the basis of the successful organisation’s all-round performance.
“Despite the challenges in the current environment, iPort Rail has continued on its journey staying at the forefront of innovation and industry best practice,” said Steve Freeman, Managing Director, iPort Rail.
“We are proud of our team’s efforts and contributions in championing the rail freight industry to date, and remain more focussed than ever on supporting businesses throughout the country and globally as activity starts to return in the coming weeks and months.”
The Awards will be held online this year at 7pm, Thursday 10 September 2020. The full shortlist can be viewed here: rfg awards 2020 shortlist announced
