With so much of the UK affected by Covid-19, we wanted to update everyone about the measures put in place at iPort Rail to make sure we can operate as normally as possible under the circumstances.
Our top priorities are taking care of our staff and supporting our clients, while ensuring that we continue to provide an excellent service under the safest of circumstances.
From the onset, we have taken measures prioritising the care of our people, including altering our pattern of working by encouraging staff to work from home and moving communications online wherever possible.
We are continuing to closely monitor the situation on a daily basis, while following all the latest health advice from the UK Government.
We have also stayed in close contact with all key suppliers to ensure we remain fully up to speed on their plans so that we can respond accordingly, and keep cargo moving. This includes making sure there are contingency plans in place for our reach stackers and other equipment.
We remain fully operational and able to support clients on all matters – and remain committed to providing a full service. We will continue to monitor the situation and should anything significant change in our situation, or that of our suppliers, we will make further announcements.
If you have any questions, please get in touch with us as usual.
